Years ago I found a double-folded “C” note on the bank floor while standing in the line to see the teller. I did ask the person in front of me if it was his, but when he said “No”, I had the same exact reaction as Rory! :-)

wanting can be more fun than the having. I’ve been rich and I’ve been poor. I prefer rich.

Actually, studies have shown that money does buy happiness up to about $1 million. After that the pleasure tapers off. :)

Money may not buy happiness, but it does buy the groceries.

I haven’t seen a fifty-dollar bill in decades. …and the adage should really be “an overmastering pursuit of money can’t buy happiness.”

Money buys ice cream, that makes me happy.

I found two $50 bills. They were “Chinese counting money”. Not legal tender, but illegal still as they looked mostly legit if you folded them just right. Dropped them off at the bank. Told them I didn’t know what else to do with them, no backs.
