In the scene at the airport, the woman running to get into line is the obvious character who could be “99,” but I think that “99” is skilled in not being obvious. Noticing the hood and glasses in the composite image, it seems like she is the sort to try to look incognito. The woman currently at the back of the line, wearing a pinstripe blazer, also bears watching.
Chapter 8As they walked out the back exit, Tracy wasn’t worried that Bleeder would shoot him in the back.
“Not his style”, he reasoned to himself.
Tracy had never been able to discover the identity of Doctor Fix, and he was unsure what would come from this encounter. Doctor Fix had the reputation as a ruthless, cold blooded “Fixer” of any sort of problem.
“Why does he want to meet me?”, Tracy pondered.
Bleeder, leading Tracy to a closed bodega motioned for Tracy to enter the store.
“Go inside, I’ll be out here so don’t get any ideas about running out!”
Tracy, complying to Bleeder’s orders walked into the darken store, only to be momentary blinded by a bright light in his face. Then he heard a very familiar voice.
" Hi, Chief detective Tracy!"
Turning around, Tracy’s square jaw almost dropped to the floor when he saw who it was.
“Ugly Crystal, what are you doing here???”
“Making sure that you understand exactly what you’re going to do for us!”
Tracy was stunned! Could this ugly, stupid brat actually be Doctor Fix?
In a shocking twist, “99” turns out to be Fritz Ann’s estranged sister “Nancy Ann”. Fritzy has been searching for her ever since “99” stole her login credentials and drained her TSP account before going on the lam.
seems like the Art arc has now segued into a new “The Hunt For 99” arc… at least now Dick realizes that Art was on the level and that a ‘99’ really DOES exist, that she is known to law-enforcement outside of the MCU and that she’s a wily adversary and not to be underestimated… perhaps 99 will prove to be a challenge for MCU…
Good to see that the MCU followed up on Arts’ story enough to confirm that 99 exists. Looks like she’s probably on her way out of state though, so her trail may be cold long before they can even pick it up!

Fritz Ann Dietrich reappears in panel 1 (as does sometime fixation Sam Catchem, along with Lee Ebony in silhouettes) to confirm that 99 is “in the system” in the Feds’ data base, though what they have on her seems rather sketchy. 99 knows when to run and when to hide until the heat cools down. And so she heads to the boarding line at Tracyville Airport….
