Hughes Aircraft in Culver City had lots of large wooden buildings, painted a different sort of green. When I asked about the color, the response was, “What are the two cheapest colors?” White and Olive Drab. Mix and you have the color of the Hughes buildings — well except for the Executive offices of course.
