NATIONAL RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS DAY

NATIONAL CAREGIVERS DAY. Happy Caregiver’s Day to Leslie!

NATIONAL NO ONE EATS ALONE DAY. I probably won’t be eating alone today. It’s very rare that I get the break room to myself when I have my lunch at work. But I sure like it when I do have the break room to myself! I hate hearing other people having loud conversations on their phones – always with the speakers on so I get to hear both sides of the conversation. Then the kids who unload the trucks come in with their shouting and cussing. They can’t seem to make a sentence without using the MF words. There’s nothing like the peace and tranquility of a break room all to myself!

NATIONAL CABBAGE DAY. Nope. I will NOT be eating cabbage today!

From yesterday’s comments to Gweedo it’s legal here Murray who commented on my post about falling asleep while watching a DVD of All In The Family, “Good old meathead, always adding to Archie’s ulcer. LOL !Do you have the whole series ?”

Yep, I bought the entire series at Walmart a couple months ago. I’m watching season 7 now.

Also from yesterday’s comments to Happy, Happy, Happy. Sorry to hear about your scare yesterday when you found a client collapsed on the floor. I hope he is recovering okay now. I’m glad you were there for him!

Update on my client. They moved him yesterday morning over to Corvallis (bigger hospital) to the ICU. He’s is in the best hands in the area. t’s just wait and see how long it takes to get the infection knocked down and get some nutrition into him.

Admittedly, dignifying what passes through what passes for a brain in Chesney with the word ‘thought’ is a bit of a stretch.

I think Chesney’s thought of Mimieux is sweet (for a change). All cats have perpetual thoughts of food – at least true for all the cats I’ve known.

I wonder what Woofs’ thoughts will be. A blank thought bubble?

I’ve had my new bed for two nights and these have been the best two nights of sleep in a long time – not counting the night we spent on the Pt Loma sub base in San Diego. I wanted to steal that one and bring it home. Anyway, once I was asleep, I stayed that way until morning.

I have a cat. I never eat alone.

I’ve often wondered about cat time keeping. Humans sleep when it’s dark. The day concept corresponds to human biology. Cats sleep whenever they want to. I’d like to see a cat calendar.

I could sure do with some Mimieux Grahams. How ’bout it, Mr. H. ?

Ah, Chesney’s in love. (As if we didn’t know.) Who knew the little stinker had a heart? On another note, saw a varied thrush and seven golden crowned kinglets while out walking today.
