you gotta praise his honesty, Flo.

He’s lucky to be married to Flo. Any other woman would have kicked him to the curb long ago.

Good to see the Vicar wearing his purple vestments..nice of him to check on Andy!

Flo asked and Andy responded. Open and shut.

And nothing changes.

Throw his butt out. Let him sleep on the street.

At least he is not messing up the bed.

Resting up from a long night and getting rest for long night ahead. Leave him be Flo.

Honesty as a policy can sometimes be overrated.

Ask a silly question and you’ll get a silly answer, Flo.

Running after the Ref, running up the wing, running up a bar tab – it all must be quite exhausting…

of course this is the comics and not reality, but so surprised Flo hasn’t kicked out andy by now

And he has know qualms about it!

Andy was no doubt running after the ref to compliment him on his excellent judgment, superior knowledge of the rules, acute eyesight, and brilliant handling of the match.

With one particular Latin American league I used to referee for, we’d back our vehicles into parking spots that were readily accessible for a quick getaway if necessary.

Flo must know by now Andy is quite comfortable with his status. I means what’s not to like, his got wife that tolerates him and people to buy him drinks.

Love it because Sunday Andy Capp cartoons are always a double dip. Two excellent bits of amusement for the price of one. And is’t Flo the polite lady for asking. Dilly! Dilly!

Another one that doesn’t get sarcasm—or ignores it!

Fifty years, and there he is. Still earning his bread by the sweat of his frau.

To be honest, it would be interesting and funny to see this guy finally start getting jobs. He would end up getting fired, of course, but seeing Andy working would give this old strip some new life.

Andy’s fine with who he is, unfortunately for Flo and everyone else.

There are so many Andys here in the U.S., feeling very comfortable being unemployed and napping on the sofa after a night out on the town. While their women support them. For shame!

I miss Affie’s comments. Anyone have any updates yet?
