Launch Date Announced 🚀 The brand-new GoComics will be unveiled April 1! (No fooling). See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
After day one, Darryl with realize it was a crazy idea and it will be fun to go back to work. Besides, Disneyland isn’t all it’s cracked up to be except EXPENSIVE.
Every state/town has lots of fun things to do within driving distance that kids love if parents would just take advantage – parks, zoos, playgrounds, shopping, eating out, movies, etc. And, even better, bring out the old fashioned games and activities at home, inside and out. The kids think they won’t like it but they do (board games, card games, puzzles, treasure hunts, cooking out, picnicking)! Go for walks in the neighborhood and get to know your neighbors a little better—offer to help out an elderly neighbor, etc. Go to the library and check out books (my son used to check out several a week during the summers when he was growing up). My grandkids (11 and 14 now) loved all that stuff. You DON’T have to go to Disney (or to some far away exotic place) to have fun!! Thanks for letting me expound even though this is a comic forum and I normally just enjoy the strip. Love Baby Blues!

Is this deja vu? Didn’t he just spend a few days with the kids while Wanda went to a conference?

Took my son to Disneyland when he was about that age. Now, he’s an adult and can’t remember the trip. Memories!

To be fair to the kids, it WAS a stretch for Daryl to try to pass off his being with them for “a couple of days” as crazy fun.

It was my idea of crazy-fun during my oldest great-granddaughter’s spring break; we hung out together for a day and had a great time.

Is Wren sticking out her tongue at her Father? Oh my goodness, I would never do that—at least to his face, I would wait ’til I got to my room.
