Leave it to Buckles to always be the top dog!*

*EXCEPTION: Robbers, paying the bills, and pretty much anything else that involves true responsibility.

Ny dog lays on the chair next to me, or on my lap, making it so hard when I have to leave, and the faces he makes!

Who’s the master? Buckles of course! The pet is always the master and even moreso when it’s a cat!

Like his evil thoughts look in First panel, sixth panel, those sad eyes. They’ll get you everytime.

Why so sad, my unemployed little freeloader? Life getting a bit hard? Let me fluff your pillow……

Buckles is such a tricky one, though in the case of Calvin, he always has to be watched over by Rosalyn whenever his parents go out for the night.

His expression in the first panel just below the circle is a " riot " and then to say nothing else , him and Jill in the third top panel is sooooo precious : )

Family is family. I agree with Buckles.

Back when I had Huskies, I had one that had a leg injury and he had to go to the Vet’s …… because I had a pack of Huskies and a few others, the Vet wanted to keep him for a few days to make sure he healed properly, so he stayed …… the crew at the Vet’s said that he was such a great Husky but sure knew how to get attention ….. it seemed that when anyone was around he would limp, whine and do everything for attention …… but as soon as he thought no one was around he would run and play ……………. he really knew how to play the crew …….. :)

I was insinuating Jill had not physical power, but a different power. Unfortunately, it does fail her, occasionally. Buckles proves once again, he learns fast and benefits from his experience.
