Perfect comic for spring!

I only got the slinky stair trick to work once in my life and I was 6.

It walks downstairs, alone or in pairs…

I had fun getting mine to do that as a kid. As an adult, I had a multicolor plastic one. They are very useful when making Rube Goldberg machines.

You get more bounces when they lose their heads.

When the ETs left, the escalators stopped working.

The purpose of the steps was to get the victims heart pounding when, after being forced to climb them, he was sacrificed by cutting his chest open and ripping his heart out and showing the pounding heart to the throng. Human sacrifice may be appropriate for Good Friday.

Who knew?

Slinky is basically a spiral but it has a hard time with spiral staircases, go figure.

This is the real reason/purpose of these pyramids.

Some people are like a Slinky. Generally pretty worthless but it’s kinda fun when you push them down the stairs.

Small stairs for short people.

I could never get it to go more than a step anyways.

Those pyramids are completely covered by vegetation when first “discovered”. It takes a huge amount of work to clear them off so that they look like that.

So the Slinky was invented at Temple University? Wonder how many steps were involved? Interestingly the song Stairway to Heaven was written by running a Slinky backwards up the steps…

Ghostbuster Egon Spengler had “half” a Slinky as a child but he straightened it out.

Why so many steps? Because if there were fewer, they wouldn’t reach the top. Duh!
