Only eight more caps to go, sir.

(Sure is rare to see adults’ speech balloons in Peanuts though.)

An adult spoke! Without the wahh-wahh-wahh! I believe the wahh-wahh-wahh was just a feature of the television specials, but I don’t recall ever “hearing” an adult actually speak in the strip before.

Will this be the cap to the story? Will Peppermint Patty get caught? Find out next time!

As hard as Patty’s head is, I doubt it hurt too badly.

Well, evidently, Patty didn’t need an accompanying adult to get a free cap. Her plan might work so long as the gate keepers don’t recognize her and as long as her head holds out.

In a sense… she kind of deserved it for trying to steal instead of bringing the whole team to the event

Gee Marcie, you could have at least waited for your friend to land.

Why didn’t they just have each member of the team come by and get their own cap? I know…common sense does not apply anymore

There seems to be an awful lot of strips dedicate to a continued theme, that never seemed to make it to any of the books that reprinted Peanuts strips.

Is that how Peppermint Patty ended up doing so poorly in school? She climbed up on the roof of her house and fell off.
