I love how maturely Petey dealt with their fable and turned it on its head.

That would be the worst thing about being a couch centaur… that or ending up being with the Simpsons.

This is why it’s so important never to fall asleep on the toilet.

What they need is a zed bed…

Petey is always the voice of reason.

Isn’t Petey being the voice of reason one of the signs of the apocalypse?

Petey is right, you know. On the other hand, you’d always have access to loose change between the cushions, but then again, you might also find grandma’s dentures in there.

Heaven help us! Sofa-Centaurs enthuse Alice, but the greater threat of Grandma, as Petey admonishes, puts the kibosh on that wish!

And Petey can continue to lie on the sofa and watch TV, safely.

—Unless, of course, he turns into a Sofa-Centaur; I never said they don’t exist….

Having shared a bedroom with each of my grandmothers while they were visiting, Petey is the voice of wisdom as well as reason.
