Again who should be investigating politicians taking bribes and why aren’t they?

They are crooked as can be.

Puh-LEEZE!! Be a little polite… Not ‘Bribes’- Campaign contributions… Po-tay-to, po-tah-to, I know- but they need all the help they can get to sleep at night, and bald truths make them toss and turn. Allergy-to-truth is difficult to live with at times.

If ‘Thoughts and prayers’ actually Worked, the shootings would have stopped after the first one. Insanity is repeating the same actions but expecting different results- so, by definition, every GOP politician is clinically insane.

the sad thing is, nearly all the mass murders have been done by leftists. doesn’t make ’em look too good. focus on the real problem, here.

On my planet, elected officials are paid a livable (comfortably so) wage and a generous allowance for the expenses of the office. They are not, however, allowed to accept income from any other source while in office. Yes, there are other details, but that’s the gist of it. Accept a bribe, get kicked out of office and prosecuted. You were elected on trust, and you broke it.

Republicans are either terrified of the gun nuts who’ll end them if they ever do anything constructive for this country, or they’re part of the militia movement that wants a 2nd Civil War. It really is that simple. There is no middle ground anymore. We’re the only idiotic country that sees the rest of the world face tragedy and eliminate it happening again, and go “Nah, we need to increase the tragedy.”
