TLDR

Then yup, I’m a Plugger (as if there was any doubt)

I feel that predictive text has made this one obsolete.

Is that what complete sentences look like?

What is this “Text” thing you write about ;-)

I could send a text from an unknown number to my son and he’d know it’s from me, ha!

Kids and grandkids make fun of me for doing this.

My kids gave me a hint that I’m not supposed to end a text comment with a period. (< I can’t help myself!).

Yep! I don’t get all of these single letters that are supposed to be words.

I skip the punctuation and capitalization if my message is short and informal. i just have to pay attention to that @#$$ auto correct.

Sheila has a smartphone, obviously not a Plugger.

Proper grammar, proper language or english is, sadly, a lost art.

Only way I ‘conduct’ business by text messaging.

Why don’t folks who text or make comments on social media type like they talk? Asking 4 a friend….

I refuse to use abbreviations or no punctuation!

Be a rare plugger though, not too many have small (steady) fingers and good eyes.

Not us here- – we are “old school” and have a land line. But I do get some E-mail on the PC.

Smart pluggers know you can connect a keyboard to most phones via bluetooth. It makes you sound like a person instead of fre skr lkks.

If you receive a fax, it’s probably from a plugger.

A real plugger will call back rather than texting back.

I work in the technology field and there are waaayyyy too many acronyms & abbreviations that have been reused, repurposed and many have been misappropriated into text-speak. I have to be very clear when I speak so as to not be misunderstood.
