Interestingly, in some countries with extremely high scores (and low student stress), they don’t do homework. For the most part, they’ve found homework doesn’t help retention and essentially just makes everyone stressed and unhappy. But, we keep doing it because, you know, the more miserable you are, the better it’s got to be, right? That’s why in some states, they’ve even done away with recess. And they wonder why behavioral issues are on the rise.
