Not funny. Too many keep their accounts along the same lines. A friend actually said, “Whatever the bank says my balance is I will go with that”.

I consider my accounts balanced when they are all equally over drawn.

I use the spreadsheet’s random number function.

The Canadian PM (Justin Trudeau) believes that budgets balance themselves.

Does he use the same method to do his taxes?

was gonna suggest Frank use the Reconcile function in Quicken but then I noticed the dirt falling off his backside…?

Fellow received a bank letter notifying of a 4th or 5th overdraft. It reminded him that use of the bank’s money was contingent on repaying it in timely fashion. He replied that he understood that but felt that, since the bank had gotten more use from his money than he had ever gotten from theirs, they should call it even. Don’t think that worked, but it slowed them down.

I think the biggest problem is that nobody really teaches basic life skills anymore. Schools no longer teach Home Economics and most parents don’t do enough or don’t know enough themself or don’t have time to really teach the basics. Sometime it is just live and learn and hope for the best.

It’s still gonna be a negative number.

I measure twice and cut one check.

I just round everything up to the nearest dollar. . .drives my bookkeeper crazy, but at least I’ve never been overdrawn. . .

If you have trouble with the sums you’re going to have an even worse time with the average.

You might do a little better if you add it up six times and then take the most common answer… ☺

This is way beyond esoteric! I haven’t the faintest idea of what the heck he is responding to or what this is about????…
