Fellow received a bank letter notifying of a 4th or 5th overdraft. It reminded him that use of the bankâs money was contingent on repaying it in timely fashion. He replied that he understood that but felt that, since the bank had gotten more use from his money than he had ever gotten from theirs, they should call it even. Donât think that worked, but it slowed them down.
I think the biggest problem is that nobody really teaches basic life skills anymore. Schools no longer teach Home Economics and most parents donât do enough or donât know enough themself or donât have time to really teach the basics. Sometime it is just live and learn and hope for the best.
