When you get an earworm in your head and canāt get rid of it, quick, think of a song you love. āHearā that in your mind or go to you tube and find it and play it a few times. Get that song in your head instead of the other one.
Cover your ears, Clayton, before she starts singing it!
I had an earworm the other day and complained to my wife. Being a caring partner I didnāt tell her the name of the song as I didnāt want to infect her. ;-)
Iām thinking of a song from the Beverly Hillbillies from Flatts and Scruggs You get a line and Iāll get a pole, Honey,You get a line and Iāll get a pole, Babe. You get a line and Iāll get a pole,Weāll go fishinā in the crawdad hole,Honey, Baby mine.
I can sympathize with Katie and Clayton. My dad used to make us listen to his infernal country music on the 8-track player in his El Camino. Every now and then, Iāll get a flashback of one of them in my head. Itās like an pickax on my brain.
