Was that a papier mâché Mini Cooper? A real one weighs about 10 times that much. 1565 kg = 3450 lbs. So…Not!

Ohn Jevans One time I was 6’7" tall and weighed 344 pounds. One time I weighed 353 pounds. One time I was 34 seconds old. I can not only balance a drivable car on my head, but I can make it spin around like the Globetrotters make basketballs spin on their fingers.

Imagine if someone discovered an old drain pipe that ran into Fort Knox. I heard there might be any gold there anymore so it wouldn’t do much good unless they’re keeping other precious metals like silver, palladium, and that other one that starts with a p that I can’t think of without googling, and I don’t wanna interrupt making a comment to look.

May the Lord be with you as He is with me.

In 1836, the directors of the Bank of England received an anonymous letter, in which the author claimed to have direct access to the gold in the bank.

The directors assumed this to be a joke and simply ignored it. However, sometime later, they received another letter, in which the enigmatic author offered to meet them at an hour of their choosing inside the main gold vault.

According to the bank’s website, the directors were intrigued but considered it impossible for someone to break into the vault without their knowledge. Nevertheless, they agreed to the meeting and gathered together one evening, inside the vault as agreed. To their great surprise, at the appointed time, a noise was heard beneath the floorboards, and a man popped up underneath their feet. He was a sewer worker who had been working on repairs close to the Bank of England site at Threadneedle Street. During his routine inspection, he had discovered an old drain that led directly underneath the gold vault inside the bank itself.

The drain provided an ideal access point to the gold vault, and constituted a major security breach. The directors of the bank were aghast at the discovery of such a significant hole in their carefully constructed security arrangements. After a quick stock take, they realized that the sewer worker had not taken anything from the vault, despite having multiple opportunities to do so. As a reward for his honesty, the directors gifted him £800, a sum that equates to £80,000 in today’s money and which would have surely transformed the man’s life.

A Miata weighs in the neighborhood of 1800 pounds, so I don’t see a Mini Cooper weighing roughly just 20% of that. Maybe it was a 352 pound PHOTO of a Mini Cooper…

That Mini Cooper weighs less than a mid-sized motorcycle.

I believe that about the drain “accidentally” leading to the bank vault. I once accidentally found a ten dollar bill and some quarters and dimes in mom’s purse when I was ten. Dad took it all away and made me pray for forgiveness and bought himself cigarettes and a can of beer and a Snickers for me. It was a lesson in faith and law enforcement I’ll never forget. ~ “Reverend” Joel Osteen, still hauling it in straight from your purses and wallets

Reminds me of a Mission Impossible episode where they steal the gold in Fort Knox by melting it with heaters and vacuuming it up through the drain.

    hippo

A medieval king was hunting in Africa. He killed a lion, an elephant, and a hippopotamus, and awarded the skins to his three squires back home in his kingdom. Thus, the three squires became known as the Lion Squire, the Elephant Squire, and the Hippo Squire.

As the years passed, the Lion Squire and the Elephant Squire became very jealous of the Hippo Squire because they wanted the hippo skin too. So, they hatched a plan to assassinate the Hippo Squire and divide the hippo skin between them equally.

Now the Lion Squire had eight sons, and the Elephant Squire had ten sons, but the Hippo Squire was childless. The Lion Squire and the Elephant Squire sent there eighteen sons to kill the Hippo Squire, but the Hippo Squire drew his sword and single-handedly slaughtered all eighteen of them.

And thus, it was proven once and for all that the squire of the hippopotamus is equal to the sons of the squires of the other two hides.

Why would anyone in their right mind want to balance a car on their head?

Just as in the Road Runner cartoons, as soon as somebody told John that the car weighed 1800 pounds and not 343, he was crushed into a flat disc.
