Worry about getting older? WORRY ABOUT GETTING OLDER??? Aunty give us a break. I don’t want to say you are old already, but we all know that when God was a freshman in high school, you were his senior advisor.
I just assume getting older beats the alternative, and don’t give it much thought, otherwise. It’s not like I can choose to change it. All I can do is act somewhat my age when I should and try to be graceful when I should. I don’t miss dragging myself out of bed at 6a every morning to go to work, having no free time at all, and worrying so much. I am happier now that I am self-sufficient and can do volunteer work with my dog and keep my own hours. I stayed in a job I would have preferred to leave, but I stayed for the pension and medical insurance. Check in with me again and maybe I will be upset that I am aging like everyone else is who has been born.

Ignore the negativity, Aunty; you look great today! Most of my male friends in the same decade, age-wise, appreciate and prefer curvaceous bodies. :-)

As long as your husband sees you that way, that is all that matters.

Stars in your eyes, Aunty? Or rose-colored glasses? Either way, nothing wrong with having a good self-image.
Those of us who have seen past cartoons of you in your underwear will tactfully refrain from commenting further.
