I’d at least give him two began strips. But, that means he’d get none in the morning. He evidently isn’t fed right at dinner. Last night, my dogie had salmon and beef with chicken broth. Yum. It was good to the last lick.
My mother was a waitress. One time she had a huge party and they were lingering well past closing time. Finally she walked up to the table & said, “I don’t sing, I don’t dance, I don’t take off my clothes…this is it, folks!” They got the hint, and left laughing…and a generous tip.
Back in the day, I helped a friend move. I got home at around 1:30-2am. And there was NOTHING open within 10 blocks. That’s when I learned that “the city that never sleeps” d@mn well takes catnaps.
Today is the 82nd birthday of Bob Dylan, Schulz’s fellow Minnesotan. Dylan once even got a shout out in the strip. It’s quite a lot to consider the influence those two combined have had on our culture.

After a long, long day’s drive, I sat down in a bar just as they announced last call. I ordered three beers.

An Italian breadstick, that is. Like the Crazy Bread served at Little Caesars.

You can’t fool me, where there’s bread sticks, there has to be a salad bar.

Perhaps like Charlie Brown and Snoopy, I LOVE eating breakfast late at night, or anytime for that matter.
