The only secrets exposed here, is that the public has been notified “their” sacred government is involved in dirty spying tactics as well. Shocked I say, shocked.

It’s disturbing that so many people can’t discuss any topic without turning it into a Trump vs. Biden or Dems vs. GOP slugfest.

So it’s bad for a young Airman to steal documents to doctor, so he can win arguments with his online gaming friends, but it’s OK for Orange Traitor to sell far more sensitive material to foreign interests for monetary gain? Both are bad, the latter far worse and more damaging, and yet only one of them is in jail currently.

Why are there any secrets in a Democracy? How can the people decide when they are deliberated blindfolded by the mandarins?

    GOP motto:

Do as I SAY, not as I DO!

Just look the other way and we’ll never speak of this again….

unless it’s a Dem…then we’ll sic mad dog Jordan on them to deflect….

To those posting that Teixeira did nothing wrong and is some kind of hero, are you Fkn kidding me? I held a TS/SCI clearance for twenty years, so I know the procedures, regulations and responsibility required in handling and protecting classified material. Teixeira needs to be tried and sent to Ft. Leavenworth if found guilty. Being for or against the war in Ukraine has nothing to do with the issue.

Look, often the actual content of classified material isn’t even sensitive, but revealing it can uncover the manner in which it was COLLECTED. This is important for several reasons such as the subject nation being able to take countermeasures against such collection in the future and endangering the source. I don’t care what the intent is, this can result in the death of agents in the field and let hostile nations know of our collection capabilities.
