So in the original story, the beans turned out to be really magical and worth far more than the cow. This leaves a few questions:If the man knew they were magical, why did he trade them with Jack for the cow? Was he a fay trying to help Jack like a Fairy Godfather. Or was he just afraid to go up to where the giant was and knew that Jack would resolve the issue of the giant?Were the beans not magical but Jack was and his faith in the beans was how he enchanted the beans?

Aunty, if you cut down on the booze you will have money for things like rent, food, utilities, and with your booze consumption if you cut it out completely you could afford a Merceds Benz, a private jet, a mansion, and a yacht. Just saying.
