UFO is past tense. Now it’s UAP. Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon.

Whatever it is called you better call out the Air Force and shoot it down. Then you can call it a pile of random ground junk.

I can’t identify a lot of things that fly

I’m not knowledgeable enough about aircraft to tell you what type they are, and the same goes for different species of birds

Until it’s identified, it shouldn’t be called “junk”.

Even when it’s identified, it probably still shouldn’t be called “junk” – one person’s junk is another person’s treasure.

All the wild-eyed chin-dribblers have co-opted “UFO” to mean “flying saucer”. What new term is used by serious folk who monitor radar and such for an unidentified object in the sky?
