Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
This happened in real life! I heard about it on the podcast Radiolab and here’s an article about it. An author wrote an obscure book and it exploded because Jay Z wore the title on a sweatshirt.
We burried the hatched after the revolutionary war and came to their side in two world wars in spite of our strong isolation feelings…and again in the Falklands. They stood by our side in the Iraq and Afghanistan debacles. Let’s face it, we’re BFF’s.
This one reminded me of a Johnny Carson’s warning to one comic— Joan Rivers to be precise. She said that he warned her that her life will change after her first appearance on his show, and it became true.
The same could happen to Laura, if Bob Harrell will take it to that next level…
If it was real life, then that author’s life does change because of the Oprah factor. The jump in income and the lower anxiety about money will make it easier to concentrate on the next book.
I’m pretty positive that NOTHING in the “Oprah-verse” happens by accident. The question will be, how much payola was involved with the publishers for that book to just “HAPPEN to show up” in her bag? Or for the candy makers to get the Nerds Clusters there, too?
