I don’t know about your book being an Oprah Winfrey selection. She doesn’t have as much pull as she used to, especially if the horror stories of how she treats her subordinates are anything to be believed.

Every time I chose a book to read that was from Oprah’s Book Club, I didn’t like it. Now I avoid them.

Much depends on if Oprah actually likes the book.

Oprah is one person when the cameras are on, and another when they are off. She did not get to be a billionaire by being nice.
