It is National Coconut Cream Pie Day, too. So, you could have that and wash it down with a coke.

It is also World Ovarian Cancer Day, but I guess it is hard to make a funny comic out of that.

In some parts of the country, Coke is the generic name for any carbonated beverage. (Other regions use soda, pop or soda pop.

I get why Coke needs its own day.

Growing up we made chocolate cows…Pepsi or coke, chocolate syrup, scoop of vanilla ice cream or milk in the Pepsi…like Lavern and Shirley made! Memories

I prefer Pepsi to Coke, if I’m going to have a cola.

One day. Big deal. Every day is beer day. Burp! :)

Everybody I’ve ever heard talk about it always emphatically says Pepsi is better than Coke and no question about it. No one I’ve talked to has EVER said they prefer Coke. As for me, I almost never drink pop/soda of any kind and have never compared them one right next to the other, and so to me, cola is cola. In a blind test I wouldn’t know the difference.

They keep asking me if Pepsi is OK, and I keep telling them no. What part of that can’t they GET?

O prefer Pepsi. The kind made with real sugar. So there. Coke can have a day, but I’ll take a good soda any day.

I had a Diet Coke. Is that ok?
