Dill’s having some kind of ‘out of body experience’…

They likely have tons of others’ stuff in their cubbies because they were being grabby.

Poor Dill…He has a lot of anxiety for such a small child.

That’s an ‘out of job’ experience

So, starting out at a new preschool with a pay cut isn’t the worst thing that could happen.

Dill is seeing himself as an adult.

I first read what Dill was saying as, “…We’ll have to take play cuts!” That would’ve fit well.

I feel for you, Dill. Parting is such sweet sorrow. I hope “security” isn’t the ceiling clown!

Dill’s running commentary on the end of pre-school is priceless. The kids are hysterical! this has to be one of the funniest of Richard’s Cul de Sac strips. Totally love it!

There was a story out of Canada—maybe Nova Scotia?—that reported a daycare center that burned down. The children’s families have to find other facilities for them to attend, and they’ll have to make new friends and look for whatever activities are available. Could be upsetting for little ones.
