I hope Elmont doesn’t have plans to move other homeless into that house. The HA would be up in arms!! Come to think of it, that may happen if only Elmont and Alice move in there.

Was watching a program on homeless in LA County… people stopped going into work during Covid, but they didn’t have the kind of job that allowed for remote work. .Many kept appealing when they got turned down for enhanced benefits because they technically abandoned their jobs, and when they DID get money, spent it on dumb things rather then their mortgage and rent. When the moratorium expired people didn’t even try to get caught up, & the process to get rent/mortgage in arrears forgiven via State assistance is a gigantic, complex pain in the butt….Now we’ve got all those folks who haven’t paid their rent/mortgage for 18-24 months screaming about their rights as they get kicked to the street… :(

Some sad news for our favorite bearded slackers.

Colorado’s legal marijuana farms are in a serious economicslump,according to THE DENVER POST.Colorado is now only 6th in profits from legal marijuana;beaten out by California,Michigan,Illinois,Florida,and Massachusetts.

FLORIDA???No WONDER De Santis sounds stoned all the time.

Zonk only set up shop in Colorado for sentimental reasons,because it was Uncle Duke’s old stomping grounds.“Colorado is the Ghost Of Christmas Future”said a high-ranking legal marijuana official.

To much supply, not enough demand.

And wait’ll Elmont sees the solid gold toilet in t he bathroom.

If it’s true to reality some distant, predatory relative, who played no part at all in our late heroine’s life, will show up at the last moment to successfully contest the will, leaving our friends with nothing after all.

Low expectations are often met, or exceeded.

In his long jaunt down memory lane, Garry Trudeau often skips over multiple months at a time, but I’m glad he’s letting this story arc play out in full.

Elmont has found his happy place.
