I remember at least once our grade school class got to go to the movie theater in town. I don’t remember how we got there, and I don’t remember what we saw, but I remember going to the movie theater. That was the thrill, not the ride or walk to the theater, nor what was playing, but being at the theater. It was easy to impress this small town boy.

Always love it when the teacher showed a movie. Even though they were educational, it was a nice break from the tedious lessons.

I remember all the classes in my grade gathering in the Auditorium to watch Stalag 17. Loved that movie.

Someone talked our school (a group of seniors, probably) into showing Endless Summer at assembly. Very relaxing.

If they’re in Florida they’ll likely be watching Leave It To Beaver
