Ironically, this brings me back to my school days.

Last Sunday, we had a maze; today, a word search.

So .. will next Sunday be a crossword, or a ‘mad lib’..?

I found her hat, a discarded rind, geography and writing. After that I found myself getting cross eyed.

What are some of the letters backwards? Dyslexia?

And I found them all.

Mmmh… Nahhh.

Why was the last line of the grid necessary? None of the words touch it.

Nowadays, any puzzle editor worth their salt would never accept that type of a Word Search grid. Kappa Books is infamous for allowing it. It’s a sign of puzzle constructing laziness. They need to revisit their editorial policies — and SCRAP them! I heard that their contributors no longer make the diagrams, they just send in the word lists which are then fed to a computer that automatically inserts the words into a grid, and the result is just awful. I’m not saying that this is true, only that it’s what I’ve heard. But if it IS true, then Kappa has made a huge error.

Steenz is making me feel nostalgic for the old Sunday funnies. It’s fun.

“Geography” will jump right out at you.

It has been awhile since I read Heart. I had to take a break after Steenz took over from Tatulli. Not because of her, but all the negativity towards the switch. I’m glad to see that is gone. I’m glad Steenz kept at it, well done!
