The cartoon seems to depict a signalman signaling that the GOP is devoid of virtue.

Only virtue they signal are ones that hurt humanity than help

The QOP has no virtue to signal. All they have would be considered vices by most.

The semaphore is accurate. Nicely done, sir.

They abrogated all morals and ethics in 2016 and just continue to double down on numerous issues of public safety (COVID and mass shootings), women’s reproductive rights, voter rights, etc. and support of those espousing racism/sexism/fascism. They’re sending no signals that they’ve changed.

OMG, that takes me back. I learned semaphore as a Boy Scout.

What they DO have is avarice, (extreme greed for wealth or material gain) obduracy (stubbornly refusing to change one’s opinion or course of action) and mendacity (untruthfulness; lying) And proud of themselves because of those things, too.

Although I appreciate Bennett’s fine work, I thought everyone knew this.

It seems to be a daily occurrence that Mr Bennett submits proof of deserving that Pulitzer thingy and more.

Ayn Rand published a book in 1961 titled, ‘The Virtue of Selfishness’. It’s kind of the bible for American corporations and Яepublican politicians. Selfishness is the only “virtue” you’ll find in righties- it’s pretty much their religion.

Thank you, Mr. Bennett. I am increasingly irritated by minions of the right trying to denigrate any good act by designating it as “virtue signaling.”
