Having corporate executives looking over your shoulder while you try to work is supposed to be an incentive? (Note that she didn’t say their job would change, just that executives would be “working” alongside them.)
Why is today’s comic strip 6 panels? Normally, it’s 4 panels. I’ve seen be 6 panels a couple of other times but I don’t understand why it’s sometimes 4 and sometimes 6.
I used to work as a programmer for a specialty retailer. I got to be friendly with the head of loss prevention. One thing he had to deal with was cheating in store employee contests. People would put a large amount of effort into winning something like a $50 savings bond. They’d risk getting fired for cause to win less than a day’s pay. It happened all the time.
Oh my gosh, whew! This is bringing flashbacks from my retail days for sure. Ours were usually pizza parties we would “win”. Never had the chance to work with corporate though. Oh man, what a shame.;) I was totally laughing out loud here. Although getting anxious from PSTD at the same time. ;)

Tabby is smiling in the last panel. I hope it’s ironic.
