Late with my review because I had to sleep in, and dang XD I kinda like the joke here, Nichols being more cordial with Nate’s plans is always fun! Not sure how this arc can stretch out for a week, tho, I hope it won’t just be “Chad can’t play the oboe” all the time. Right now, tho, it’s sort of working!

This is ironic because my school plays music in between classes as a warning for students who are usually late to get to class.

Okay, tbh, I dont really like the strip that much. Its not really funny, or its just that they are super cute while they are not so good at those…..instruments.

3/10, no offence Peirce, but could you make me laugh super hard on the next one, or at least be as excited as the poem one?

I realize the oboe is "the ill wind that no-one blows good’, but this isn’t the only comic to deride beginning oboists. As someone who has played the oboe for over 60 years, I resemble that alligator!

This was like our town’s Memorial Day parade yesterday — the high school bands were great, but the middle school bands? They were fine, but definitely “middle schooly.” (I was in middle school marching band and I’m sure we sounded/marched like that, too.)

Why is Chad on the oboe Nate’s first choice? I thought for sure he’d be wanting Enslave the Mollusk to play.

Not going to lie, I like seeing Nate get along with the staff a lot more than I like seeing him get in trouble.
