“The vegetation was true to form around the edges of the lot, and around the path that ran diagonally through it; but the spaces in between were a plain surface. Not a leaf nor a blade of grass grew there; it was naked-looking, blank, and absolutely without any color whatever. ‘Oh, that,, answered Iridel. ’There are only two characters in Act Wednesday who will use that path. Therefore it is as grown-over as it should be. The rest of the lot doesn’t enter into the play, so we don’t have to do anything with it.’” from the short story “Yesterday was Monday” by Theodore Sturgeon (1941). I don’t know, those doorways look like a mistake. Someone will be chastised for this. The story can be found online, and is a fun thing to read IMO.
Definitely not normal! Nothing to worry about (yet), unless that wall is moving toward them as they stand there and contemplate it. Is anyone home? They’re walking through empty corridors and evidently haven’t met any other Eden residents yet.
I like the discussion about the Wally/Cracked Cat merging. Cracky seems to have the upper hand at the moment (“…Wally merged with me…) yet Wally is still present as well (”He knows Eden…").
The wall is in the middle of the doors. No that is not very common. I hope it is not comming closer, or you shut go for a run in the opposite direction.
Where Wally came from was destroyed or at least heavily damaged in the collapse. If it is his original reality only part of it may have survived. Those door are halved by the wall. There is hope Kirby and company made it. Moved by Marx Moving to a safer place pending restart.
Looks like a certain real-estate developer’s attempt to meet MINIMUM “affordable rent accommodations” were the door calls to be 2 meters wide.“But it is! 1.5m is 2 meters rounded off. I agree, it is not 2.0 but law states only 2 meters.”Yes, a real conversation I had with a contractor a long time ago. Law now states a minimum of 2000 millimeters.

So Wally merged with Cracked Cat…but looks like Wally is reasserting himself. Next step…loosen the bowtie.

Kinda adds a new twist to a dead end? On another note, maybe we are back to seeing a semi normal posting of new strips??!! (YAY!)

I’m not sure Wacky can jump the gun; I think they lost it a while back.

I love the fact that ‘Wally’ now has white gloves and a bow tie.

It seems to just stop like in mid thought. Looks like a construction of some kind resembling a place they know. Not the real thing.

Neathery is so good that you see a doorknob on the RHS partial door, but not on the LHS partial door. Attends to details very well.
