Marx could have placed them anywhere in the multiverse, but he chose this place that’s being erased from existence. I wonder what he wants them to do there… Get the other people out?
It may have been discussed before, but has anyone reasoned why Terrance didn’t talk in the comic book existence? I’m guessing either his character didn’t talk, or quite possibly, the peacock wasn’t an anthro character.
So, this is not the end of reality, just the end of the Eden bubble. Cool. Except they are right there ready to be dissolved along with everything else in the bubble.
Sorry, Terrance, but the “weirdness parade” marches along with the group from one adventure to the next.
He’s intelligent, though. He quickly pointed out that the door and wall are fused and the Eden displacement reality is collapsing in on itself. Not via a cataclysmic explosion, which is fortunate for them, but I doubt they have a whole lot of time to figure out how to escape.
But why did Marx send them there? Someone left to be evacuated/rescued, perhaps?
OK, so now if they turn around and find the same effect on the other end of the wall, they will need to do 1 of 2 things,
1) Find Ravencroft’s apartment again, and make use of the gate there, Use the anti-haint medallion to pick a place, by holding it on the necklace next to the wall. If the haint is attracted, go there. If it is repelled, don’t go there,
2) failing to get to Ravencroft’s apartment, look for one like Wally’s that has a window overlooking the sea. Jump for the beach and try to find the spot where you made contact with Amesworth …
This is why I never build construction in the space-between-spaces. Just be glad no one has NoClip’d through the ground and ended u—-… oh wait nevermind. Note to Self: Too late.
A little more than a year ago,(May 9, 2022) Marx said that whileWally was indeed dead, he would be back. He said that he had been getting Wally into condition for the real fight for a long time. So Marx does have a purpose for sending the guys here. We are just guessing what it is. But if defeating the Eye wasn’t the real fight, the real fight must be a doozy.
FYI. the Eden colony is underground. It looks like the stone it was carved out of is reclaiming it’s territory. Upside; there are tunnels and hatches leading to the surface. Whether those will help, I don’t know.
I wonder what they can do from inside whatever version of Eden this is. Ravenscroft was trying to escape being trapped there by drawing his own gateway, and Amesworth was stuck between dimensions, only popping into the “Eden Bubble” where the boundaries were thin. The only folks that seemed able to manipulate anything seemed to be in the Eden Project labs.
Since there’s a nice straight edge with the partial doorway, they could judge the rate of the “reality bubble” shrinkage by watching the rate the blank wall moves towards the edge. Collapse seems more likely than “dissolving” the bubble since the blank wall is solid. I think if the bubble was dissolving or breaking up, the boundary wouldn’t be as sharp. If they knew where the center of the bubble is(spherical bubble makes the most sense) relative to their location in it, they could judge how much time before Eden was all gone. But then there was that violent forest of waterspouts phenomenon that Kirbee, Irving and Chic saw. What is the relationship of that to this? Damfino. We’re dealing with cartoon fantasy here, so I’m just guessing.
I’m glad to see Terrance FINALLY being a part of the conversation! Hopefully since he was a part of the Project, he’ll have a solution. A back door for escaping, maybe?

Perhaps they should check out what’s behind this blocked door—-that is, if it’ll open.

Just a thought…Could they possibly be on the “new side” of the reality bubble? Since there appears to be nobody else around?

„The weirdness parade marches on“ – I suspect that as long as Endtown runs, the weirdness parade will always march on…
