Them maniacal mosquitoes is utterly unbearable.

Soon, the lightning bugs will begin their show. The tree frogs and crickets, their music. Perhaps, a tenor. If, a heron hasn’t eaten him. I’ll light up a nice stogie with a glass of amber liquid to quelch my thirst. Mosquitoes hate cigar smoke.

That’s funny and true!

And the dead spots from macro degeneration.

For me it’s just the mosquitoes …

YES!!! And I thought it was only me having this experience.

yeah, it’s comforting

Truth! I never know if it’s floaters or gnats.

At least we can’t hear the constant buzzing anymore.

The mosquitoes land on your arm and suck your blood. The floaters don’t.

No they don’t.

This is not true.

Most Pluggers ain’t familiar with flitting.

I have more trouble distinguishing floaters from gnats.

Floaters don’t itch. :)

Or fruit flies. I was getting a lot of fruit flies until my elderly neighbor moved away a few years ago. I was wondering where they were from until I saw some flying into the hallway from his open door. :(( poor guy. A jar of red vinegar with a few holes in the cover for them to go in but they don’t go back out. I thought I was seeing them again until I learned about the floaters.

I put Post-Its on all my floaters so I don’t make that mistake. I was surprised to find they came in nanometer sizes.

When I am bored I look back and forth from side to side and watch the floaters seem to move from side to side for fun.

The two bigger ones look like things – the one on the left looks like a backwards cents sign and the one on the right looks like a break in glass.

I have had them for several years. Husband cannot understand the concept – except the other day he said to me that he thinks he might have some. He has Diabetic problems with his eyes (and has surgery) so he is not sure if what he sees is new or not.
