TBH if it’s offering pretzel buns it’s probably not a restaurant I’m at.

Since I’m native to pretzel county (both ones; my parents being one from Swabia and the other from Bavaria) and born, raised and living in Munich – if it’s done properly, it’s really delicious. Not as delicious as a proper pretzel, but better fit for some hearty dishes.

The other extreme would be “Seelen” in Augsburg – Pretzels without the twist. Delicious!

I’m not too big on the pretzel buns really. I like soft pretzels with dipping sauce.

I’ll pass on the pretzel buns (and anything else pretzel) — I have to avoid eating too many carbs, and pretzel buns are high in them.

Wendy’s does sell a bacon and cheese burger, with a pretzel bun…it’s very good!

I’m probably in the minority, but I don’t like pretzel buns. I’m not a fan of Hawaiian sweet rolls or brioche, either. I wouldn’t complain at the restaurant. I’m not a Karen, but it’s not something I’d specifically order.
