Don’t forget that the lazy bum sleeps all day while his long-suffering wife scrubs people’s floors to earn a living—which he steals as beer money!!

That doesn’t leave much time for a bit of bitters.

I have mentioned in two replies that Andy spends a lot of time in a pub before he is chucked out. Perhaps it takes them so long to chuck Andy out that it does cover about half the time that he is in the pub.

Every pub has its share of undesirable customers. But opinions vary as to which ones they are, and I’m not naming names.

Purple hat to match the purple suit. Must be a new fashion. As for the guy in the snot green suit………..

With an occasional dip in the canal and trip to the nick.

What about his time in gaol / jail?

This gag does not hold up to the critical scrutiny of our astute contributors and is definitely not Smythe-worthy!

Or at the track, or in the canal. You see him everywhere but work.

He doth exaggerate, but, as the saying goes, what goes in must come out. And sometimes forceably.

Wat a cannard, he spends one quarter of his time getting chucked out (flying is much faster than walking) the other quarter of his time he is either in jail, the canal, or asleep at home

Well, in his own way Andy can certainly be considered reliable.

Keeping it equal. That’s the way.
