But why waste the day with the most hours of daylight on things you could do indoors after dark?

The Twenty-first of June is indeed the longest day of each year so this is a very well-timed strip. Summer vacation has only just started for Red but we are in the middle of summer in the sense that, after tonight, the days will slowly get shorter again and the nights will slowly get longer again.

Way to go – “Seize the Day!”, mom.

Red, Rover, what’s that I hear? Popsicle Peter’s ice cream truck? Get a move on it! LOL

So much for fun in the sun!

Actually, it would save some time if Red tidied his room while getting his clothes from there rather than bringing his clothes down and going back up to tidy his room.

Moms don’t get summers off. Red can learn to do some minimal chores to help prepare him for being an adult. Many kids spend more time arguing over doing some simple chores than they spend actually doing them.

Ann Landers once said, the condition of a kids room doesn’t alter his path in life…..just shut the door!

Just make your bed BEFORE you get out of it, each day.

And don’t throw your clothes on the floor…

Easy to keep it lookin tidied.

Rover will help you Red …… he’ll check for milky bones first ….. :)
