just think about the 200% mark up on clothes and how much it cost to manufacture that little bathing suit.

Isn’t that pretty much fashion every year, taking the same ol’ stuff and rearranging it to look “fresh” and “new” and then charging extra for it? I think that’s why I usually don’t follow the trends, and am pretty low key with what I wear.Good morning, legaleagle, Meg, Susan and Aaron! I’ve got the Rocky theme cued waiting for your PT, Aaron… ;-)Hello to GsMom, Billy, KFG, rgcviper, lindz.coop, hendelca, Mona, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, gmforde, soonergal, lippyfish, Mai Tai, Willi Nilli, mollie and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today! (Did I get all the lurkers? tee hee!)

This makes me happier all the time that I’m a guy. Marketing and sales is such a scam. At least Cathy is smart enough to question it.

Morning Susan if you didn’t see it, I left a comment for you yesterday afternoon. Morning lightenup low-key but fun anyway. :-D Mom is about to crack the whip, so off I go.

    hi mom!

Sales Lady’s remark is better than being lied to, but not by much. She’d hate to see Aaron or me coming into her store. Worse, if the store advertised on TV, it would never see any sales from us. We both figure that those insurance companies, for example, (who shall remain nameless but you know who) can afford to advertise twice each half hour or four times every hour for 24 hours a day, day after day and week after week on every network in creation AND in banner ads online, they do not need our money.

Our bud didn’t have scheduled PT today so Mom helped him work out. We decided that LMB is definitely staying clear of Aaron’s right hip. He whimpers when he’s near it. I read a study at work today that suggests pets can smell injury and disease. It’s the chemicals we use in treating injuries and also odors that cancers, etc put out. So if your pet is cozying up to you unexpectedly, get a checkup. Really.

    hi mom!

Your Pooh pic last night was so sweet. LMB saw it on the screen and then took his Pooh bear off the chair and curled up with him.

By the way, I just read Calvin & Hobbes, and it reminded me that I brought my mom a test tube full of some chemicals and my saliva from science camp today. I think she loved it!! Hahaha!!

    Hi Cathyites!!

I’m with lightenupjr — I rarely even wear skirts. And I never wear one to the beach.

BilIy & lightenup — I too have heard about dogs sniffing out cancer — but I thought it was limited to melanoma and possibly lung cancer. If I ever find one that can detect breast cancer they have a permanent home waiting for them.
