This is an amusing cartoon, especially the ‘very innocent’ bit. I mean, you’re innocent or you’re not. There are no degrees of innocence. I once found it amusing that tRump supporters fell for those comments, without seeing the implicit insanity in the situation. Now I find it disturbing and tragic. Hell in a hand-basket comes to mind.
Kevin McCarthy said secret documents are safer in a bathroom than a garage because “a bathroom door locks.” However, many — if not most — garage doors have locks. Furthermore, most bathroom doors lock from the inside. They are unlocked when unoccupied.
He honestly believes, in his delusional and drug-addled state of mind, that ANYTHING he does is just fine and dandy, and that he’s TOTALLY above the law.
I have lived in countries ( including my current one, Ecuador ) where opponents of the ruling political party were thrown in jail and/or prosecuted on trumped-up ( pardon the pun ) charges and spurious evidence. I have watched the long and torturous way that the Federal and State prosecutors have laboriously built their cases against Trump and concluded that they have been overly-accomodating and respectful of the ex-President. If this had been any other country than the U.S.A., The Great Prevaricator would have been locked away long before this!
I find it ironic and extremely hypocritical that the political party that fostered Joe McCarthy’s witchhunt, Richard Nixon’s persecutions of anti-Vietnam War protesters, and more recently, the vain attempts to condemn and prosecute Hillary Clinton, should be crying “Foul!” and “Witch Hunt!” about the long-overdue accountability in the courts of justice for Mr. Donald John Trump – an American citizen.
I read in Newsweek he’ll take a plea bargain if we give him monetary compensation for damages for being a criminal. Just like his boast he could end the war in the Ukraine in a day. If we make him president……Greatest grifter con-man ever.
I hope this “person” gets nailed! Put him in prison(the devils waiting room), he’s ruined the minds of some great Americans, families are torn because he wants all the money and power he can get. He does not care about his followers, I wish people would see this…

Remember when Donnie kept ACTUALLY threatening to weaponize the DOJ to go after his political enemies?
Now he’s pretending to be the victim of that when he really did commit crimes.

After reading this and his other works, I only have one question, where are the Pulitzer thingies that Ruben so richly deserves?

Thank you, Ruben. One of the best Family Circus parodies I’ve seen in a while.
