.. there are plenty of books about dogs and probably some sports books. I don’t ask much from a joke but make sense.

Decent gag, ig? It’s a little basic in terms of “there are tons of books about the first two”? Unless it’s about the cheeze doodles, the reactions are stock because Peirce needs to mock Nate. But hey. First 2 panels are cute! Plus I don’t mind a joke arc for them as long as it ends soft!

I’m sure there are mostly books within 2 of those 3 topics. dogs, definitely. ice hockey, pretty likely, but Cheez-Doodles, unless you find a book on that “Morrie Yohai” person, (the person who invented the cheez doodles), then that’s all you got!

I hope Nate and Daphne breaks up soon, their storylines are boring

If there’s a dog on the cover and the book has won an award, I won’t read it, because the dog definitely dies

As a former librarian, I actually love that Nate has specific tastes. So many people are really vague when asked what they like to read about.

There are probably tons of books about ice hockey. NHL is a big sport in North America.
