What? I’m first! Where is everybody?? Oh, that’s right….time change. My body wasn’t ready for that I guess :-) Sigh…now it’s going to be a REALLY long day. Must go change the clocks.
So right about the food trends changing. Every fast food chain and a lot of restaurants serve larger portions these days it seems.
Hello to all you Cathyites who arrive later. Hope you got to enjoy and extra hour of sleep!
We had our extra hour last weekend, so we’ve adjusted by now. Well – most of us.
Have to admit, I don’t bother changing all the clocks nowadays. There are so many! By the time I got them all changed, it would be time to start changing them all back again.
Hmmm, wonder why we’re so unhealthy these days… :-/ It’s so much easier to overeat on junk! Good morning, BJIllistrated! It is an adjustment on your body when changing the clocks, isn’t it? Now to educate the pets on their new feeding time…Hello to the rest of the clan… GsMom, Aaron, Susan, KFG, Billy, rgcviper, lindz.coop, hendelca, Mona, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, gmforde, soonergal, mollie, AnonaMona, Bronzepony, simpsonfan2, tegm, legaleagle, Shyygirl27, catsarge10, ncalifgirl58, Molly mcgee, Teresa, mar mar in MI, SplendensPluviaNemus and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today!
Hi Cathyites!! Bigger is always better in America — until it’s the hips or tummy. Restaurants really could cut the “super-sizing” and go back to normal portions. My husband and I almost always split a meal and usually have some to take home too! I really don’t need ribs that hang off the already oversized plate, and from the looks of most folks I see — they don’t need it either.
We noticed the supersizing in most restaurants we ate at while we were in Phoenix. After being physically unable to finish most of our meals (the stomach can only hold so much – and mine is much smaller on the inside that it is on the outside) we decided next year to order one meal and two plates. Then maybe, just maybe, we might actually have room for dessert! Hope all my fellow Cathyites had a good, safe weekend!
