I don’t know in which city Brutus live, but if is East time I presume that 12 o’ clock are in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

You didn’t take him to lunch 2 days ago, so it’s pay back!

And at lunchtime you can pretend it’s FIVE O’CLOCK somewhere.

“Boss, the stomach wants what it wants…” added Brutus. “Humph!” snorted Veeblefester, “hurry up, finish and get back to work and make sure you clean up the crumbs!”

Yeah, Brutus, and somewhere, someone is getting fired, too.

I remember really busy days of eating half a sandwich at my desk at 10a and half around 2-3p. No time was lost, though, and sometimes the meal was eaten in the car while I was making home calls. Not all jobs can conform to a clock.

If you’re in California, it’s 12:00 in New York!

just hope the boss don’t chew you or your lunch out. :D

Gladys’ cost cutting measures are starving poor Brutus. I suspect that in 3 hours he’ll be at the diner for the blue plate special.

If Brutus is having lunch at 9 a.m., he should be able to leave work by 3 p.m. Genius plan!
