Uh-oh, Petey. Alice doesn’t take correction.
…and it was followed by a trail of flies!
My Great Grandson has turned into an “uh oh” baby. But I think he’s cute, not creepy.
“UH-OH Baby! Horrifying!” Would look great on a Movie Marquee. … “UH-OH Toddler! Horrifying!” ehhh, not so much…
Why is this baby (toddler) walking around by itself? Someone call Social Services.
How do you know Mom wasn’t sitting on the bench watching the baby?
Oy!
Could be an adult or teen, walking around by itself like that. Look for a 5 o’clock shadow, unless it’s slobber or mud.
When you’re four years old, anyone younger than you is a baby. When you’re an old-timer like Petey, you see more shades of gray.
Missing the point again, Petey!
Yes, yes, Petey, it is.
Wouldn’t the “uh oh” refer to an event that has already happened?
That baby is probably an “Uh-oh” teenager now!
Hmmmm, do you think the reason Alice sees the Uh-Oh Baby so often is because Alice is what everyone is being warned about?
Thank you, Petey, and while that may be true, pedants can be horrifying also. Don’t worry, though, we still love you.
Petey is being too logical for his four-year-old sister. Besides, “Uh-Oh Baby” has become the established usage and canonical term….
In my “Saved” comics I have the mysterious“Glove on a Fencepost” which, if possible, is a more ominous portent that the Uh-Oh Baby (at the least, it’s more ambiguous).
