Cats eating grapefruits? Pu-lease. If Bucky needs a diet, just reduce her tuna ration.

That’s my favorite line so far in today’s comics: “Why? What do grapefruits eat?”

A little incomprehension on Bucky’s part.

Does a PO’ed cat poop in your bed and P in your shoes?

Finnish don’t eat grapefruits, the whole lot of them have scurvy.

Citrus fruits are toxic to cats.

Rob gives Bucky grapefruit because it has lottsa vitamin C.

No! Cats are meant to eat meat. Cats are “obligate carnivores” which means that they need meat in their diet. Besides grapefruit can have a bad effect in connection with medications in humans, and presumably in cats.

Ick. Can’t stand grapefruit. Way too sour. But that’s OK, because I can’t eat it even if I wanted to. I take a statin med and you can’t have the grapefruit because of the enzymes in it. I eat grapefruit flavored Jelly Bellies, though. Those are OK.

Ditto on the statin; no grapefruit or grapefruit juice.

I know it’s a comic, but dang. Cats are carnivores, they do NOT do well on non-meat diets. Put Bucky on a restricted bland chicken diet. or diet kibble.

Cats cannot survive on a diet of grapefruit whats. :)

He should put Bucky on a Grape-Nut diet. Yuummm.
