One side is ONshoring manufacturing, creating jobs, bringing down inflation, building infrastructure, etc.
Republicans on the other side are investigating and LYING about Hunter Biden. Also rooting for a Putin victory in Ukraine. And making sh!t up to weaponize and LIE about, e.g. 87,000 armed IRS thugs coming to break down your door and confiscate your gas stove.
Only one of the parties is defending a Chinese spy and attacking the American Department of Justice because the President of the United States isn’t part of their political party, Scott.
One party wants to put a man in charge who alienated our friends, aided our enemies, and attempted to overthrow our elected government, the other party wants an octogenarian who has lead the free world against a brutal dictator, energized the economy, (lowering inflation, currently 3%, and boosting pay, 4.1%), and wants a unified country. Both may say the other is evil but one is clearly worse than the other.
I grew up in a conservative Republican party and was taught that Democrats were, if not evil, at least crooks. This was 50+ years ago. It took a few years for me to see that this was wrong, but I did get there.
Not being the sharpest knife in the drawer, there is a remaining edge that will still accomplish the need. Standing back while avoiding comment on the vicious, venomous, vitriolic distortions on this board has become a virtue/choice for many. The truth [both real & imagined] is diluted and twisted 180 degree. Retaining a rationalism, so vital to logical and productive conversation, is a virtue and pathway to understanding and perhaps a final resolution. ,,, ,,, ,,, It is to marvel at the rants and ravings of the many outrageous accusations posted on this board [as well as others]. It is truly amusing to imagine such contributors [revealing their mental state] rending their clothing and wallowing on the ground in the muck and mire of their outrage and disillusionment. ,,, ,,, ,,, It is little wonder that that there is a dearth of so called honest rebuttal because doing so is a waste of irrecoverable precious time. Why continue this screed and waste more ,,, ,,, ,,, ???
