Had a cat that played fetch. My bedroom was on the third floor and I would throw a ball down the stairs, he would zip down and back and wait for me to throw it again.
I saw a show in Las Vegas quite a few years ago, an animal act, with house cats. According to the backstory the trainer escaped the USSR and managed to get to the US, spent a year working with cats rescued from the local animal shelter. He became the house act at one of the casinos. It was even televised. Amazing that he was able to train house cats at all.
My cats communicate telepathically. I tell the one, “tell your brother to come down for dinner.” He goes to the stairwell and looks up. In a couple of minutes, the other cat comes down.
Luddie is getting to be an old fella. Not sure how long he’s been in the strip but he’s a cartoon character so he may live for ever. My old cat Prince RIP. As he aged a warm ray of sunshine on our bed was more attractive than chasing leaves in the wind. Something he did as a kitten. Keep chasing those leaves old buddy.
