Man, now I want to grow some birdhouse gourds. My grandfather had tons of them and usually painted them up.

Plus, you can use a small gourd to drink mate as the Argentines do. :)

Well, if she’s onboard with it, then you already know the rest of them will be too.

My wife grows them every year. They take over the pergola and I get some cool pictures around Halloween.

This makes me want to grow birdhouse gourds now.

I can honestly say I’ve never worn a gourd on me noggin’. But there’s always a time to try something new!
