Ain’t it the truth. I flew for the first time in years last week and there were babies behind and in front. The crying wasn’t horrible as the parents usually got them calmed, but it wasn’t fun, either.

Went on a Greyhound trip once, where a young Mom with two toddlers & a babe joined us for a 250 mile trip. For the last 2 1/2 hrs of the trip, the babe started screaming and did not let up, no matter what the Mom could do and many passengers tried their best to help her.

As we got off the bus at our destination, I overheard her say to the one meeting her how exhausted she was, having been on her bus trip 14 hours! She had started out 9 hours before we had even met her.

Nowadays if you don’t switch she’ll start screaming at you and then the flight will be delayed while she’s being removed.

Then there’s the toddler sitting behind you kicking your seat and peaking over at you … and you can’t fly with a concealed water pistol …❗️

There is a video on YouTube of a woman sitting in another woman’s seat because she wanted to sit with her two children. This clueless woman did not reserve three seats together. The other woman reserved that window seat due to being prone to motion sickness. The clueless woman finally moved to the seat behind her 11 and 15 year old kids. The clueless woman kept asking her kids, “Are you ok?” The 15 yr old finally said, “WE ARE FiNE!” I am amazed at the actions of people on planes today. I flew from 1957 to 1992 (first class) and stopped due to the bare feet, rudeness, drunkenness, ugliness, crowded cabins, fights, “karens” etc. People used to dress nicely and act with kindness towards one another on aircraft. Travel by air was expensive and more so first class seats. Then airlines reduced fares and allowed upgrades via mileage and crammed too many people on the aircraft.
