Don’t ever take him to a double header then.

Of all the new rules in the MLB this year there are only two I don’t care for. The automatic putting a player on second base during extra innings and where the fielders have to be on the field. (if the team wants to put all the players on the right side of the field then so be it)

I’ve been to a few Major League games with friends. Not being a baseball fan, it’s hard to feign enthusiasm for 2 innings much less 9, but I survive. :-)

Count your blessings Wilberforce. You could have gotten a sea behind a column. And there’s no discount for those seats.

When we were kids, most of us old folk only watched baseball on a black and white televisions. If you ask us what our first ball game was like, we almost universally answer “The grass was so green!”

A major league game holds no interest for me. It would be too “peopley.”

Sometimes you CAN have too much of a good thing. Felt the same at some baseball games myself. Glad he went. He will always remember that first one, especially with his Dad…..

No it doesn’t. Get rid of the fake runner! Play it out properly until someone wins properly!

When I take my grandson to a Brewers game, I’ve learned to only expect to see half a game. Grandma keeps making me take him to the kids’ play area, then hot dog, then ice cream, then bathroom, then to the top row, etc.

Especially if overtime of a 0-0 game.

I used to enjoy seeing spring training games in FL on vacation. I saw quite a few different stadiums around the state. I wish I lived close to a AAA team, but I don’t.

With the ghost runner or phantom runner or whatever it’s officially called lengthy extra inning games have become very rare. And that’s a good thing to this life long baseball fan!

there’s no such thing as “too much” baseball… ☺

I’m sorry…I just don’t care for either the ghost runner or the pitch clock. Maybe that’s just me.
