This.. is genuinely sweet. I didn’t expect things to go this way, I did love Marty being a super villian and all and I have not been subtle about it… but i’m liking it. It’s genuinely great writing, and fits gils’ character, which barjas DOES give him: he’s still mostly a plank of wood masquerading as a person.. but he’s one who belivies in people. He’ll be hard on someone if he has to , see this whole vape mess, but he’ll also do everything to help someone, even someone like Luke whose spent a whole year obessing over destroying him.
Exactly what has Big Hand Luke done to make Gil think he’s “one hell of a coach”? Better get a room in the memory care unit with Meemaw ready for Gilpa.
